We have news! In 2025, IID-SII will be shifting to a foundation status and become LGI’s Corporate Foundation for Biodiversity.

Our main focus is to support biodiversity restoration and preservation, through 3 pillars of action :

• Impact: fund (through yearly call for projects), support and evaluate the impact of selected biodiversity projects in vulnerable biodiversity hotspots in France and globally
• Innovation: take part in research innovation projects such Horizon Europe Innovation Action projects, following up on IID-SII’s direct work
• Knowledge: develop and facilitate awareness raising activities, workshops and events to spread knowledge about biodiversity and reconnect people to nature. This includes creating a new fresco, facilitating existing frescos such as the Biodiversity Collage, offering Forest well-being guided sessions, and more!
